Message from Ledezma Family/Date of Next Sierra Family Reunion Meeting

Hi Everyone,
As you know it is getting close to tournament time and I am trying to get everything organized and want to see what help anyone could give so that I know how much I need to find with others outside of family. It is a lot of work to put these tournaments on and the schedule is not set in stone but it is a pretty close estimate on what I think I will need but please me patient with me if something changes.
I will attach an excel spread sheet if you can volunteer any time at all please send me an email back and let me know and I will get you added to the main schedule. Even if it is just a partial time slot we will make it work.

The tournaments and locations are separated by tabs and please make sure you look at the dates because both tournaments are on there.

Note:   At this time I do not have access to send the excel spread sheet, I will send it once this gets solved. Sorry for inconvenience.

I’m attaching a flyer for the River Bandits game and asking for everyone’s help in selling tickets. The more we sell the more that will hear Tyler’s story and the more the River Bandits will donate to our scholarship fund. We were able to give 15 scholarships out this year and want to be able to continue to give area kids scholarships and hopefully save lives.
So please help us sell tickets.

Seatbelt Awareness Night

 In Memory of Tyler Ledezma

 Modern Woodman Park

June 29th, 2013

Game Time 7:00 pm / Presentation 6:00 pm

Please join the Ledezma family for a night of fun with our Quad City River Bandits. Melissa (Tyler’s mom) will be doing a presentation on the importance of wearing your seatbelt by sharing her son’s story. For every ticket that is purchased from the Ledezma Family the Quad City River Bandits will donate a portion to their son’s memorial scholarship fund. For 2013 the Ledezma family gave 15 scholarships out to area kids.

Let’s help them in their efforts in raising awareness for the importance of seatbelt use and continuing to support area kids by giving scholarships in their son’s memory.

$7.00 per ticket

Melissa was contacted by Illinois Transportation to be part of a press release for a Click It Campaign in connection with Mother’s Day. They had received the newspaper article from a police officer liaison in this area that they work with. Melissa was in Chicago on Monday, May13th to do the press release.
Here is the link to it if you would like to watch it.
